Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) Overview

The objective of imparting instructions for this programme from one of the top BBA colleges in Pune is to groom the students and provide comprehensive inputs and develop an all-around personality. This would enable the students to take up the challenges of the professional environment and also become responsible citizens of the world. Our career-focused BBA courses are known for equipping students in the diverse fields of management.

The 3-year BBA programme at SCMS, Pune (one of the best BBA colleges in Maharashtra) is spread across six semesters. The course follows the Cafeteria approach where students are offered a list of courses to choose from based on their interest and aptitude.

In the first year, students are offered fundamental core courses which then translate into specialisations from the second year. The fundamental courses offered by the institute help students to understand and analyse the importance of all these subjects in management. The purpose of including these fundamental courses in the first year of their BBA program is to make students aware of the global trends followed in managerial education.

Eligibility for Admission (Indian Students)

Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST category.

Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test of our center. Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)

Indian Students : – Reservation of seats for Special Categories
The following are the reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian students:

Scheduled Caste: 15%
Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
Differently abled students: 3%
Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats over and above the sanctioned intake.

DIFFERENTLY ABLED–

A student having any of the following disabilities with minimum 40% of damages can claim admissions under this category. A certificate issued by a Medical Superintendent/ Civil Surgeon of a Government hospital has to be submitted in this regard.
