For students seeking to get admissions into the college for Ph.D., the most basic eligibility criteria are acquiring a minimum of 55% marks in a postgraduate degree with an M.Phil degree; with an exception to students that have appeared for and passed CSIR NET/ JRF/ GATE or SLET with a good academic record will be granted exemption from the requirement of M.Phil degree.
