Admission Process

  • Step 1: Online Application to be accessed through college website.
  • Step 2: Fill in the Application, attach the necessary scanned documents, pay the application fee and submit the form. (Incomplete forms will not be processed).
  • Step 3: Admission coordinators will verify the application and uploaded documents.
  • Step 4: Program Admission coordinators will Shortlist the candidates based on the eligibility criteria and Shortlisted Candidates would receive a mail or call from the admission coordinators and a provisional list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the website.
  • Step 5: Program annual Fee is assigned, and Fee payment link will be available in the admission portal. (The same is notified to the Candidates through an SMS from the college). Candidates are required to make the fee payment before the last date notified.
  • Step 6: All online fee payments will be duly acknowledged immediately and Students will receive an SMS confirming the provisional admission.
  • Note : Fee Payments done in offline mode (NEFT, UPI, Bank payment) would receive an acknowledgment after 48 Hours. In case of delay you are required to contact the Admission coordinators .

Eligibility Criteria

• Aspirants of the program should have completed B.Sc Degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/ Nutrition and Dietetics / Food Science and Quality Control/ Human Nutrition/Applied Nutrition/Food Science and Nutrition/ Home Science or Family and Community Sciences from UGC recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% and 65% and above in nutrition subjects.

Selection Process

1. Candidates will be selected for Online Entrance Exam (Subject Interview) & Personal Interview as per eligibility criteria

2. Only selected candidates will be intimated for Entrance Exam (Subject Interview) via e-mail provided in the application form

3. The syllabus will be based on graduation subjects: Physiology, Nutritional Biochemistry, Food Science, Food Microbiology, Human Nutrition, and Dietetics

4. Candidates will be shortlisted based on graduation marks merit list and Entrance Exam marks (Subject Interview)

5. Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview and document verification for the final selection

B.Sc – Physics, Mathematics         ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Students who have passed II PUC or 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as optional subjects.

2. Admission to the B.Sc (Physics- Mathematics) program will be granted after a walk-in-interview which will be conducted after the announcement of II PUC /STD XII results.

Applications are accepted online only.

Fees for the application forms must be paid through the Payment Gateway (Online Payment)

Application fee for UG & Integrated B.Ed Programs, PG & Diploma Programs and Global MBA Programs is Rs. 1000/-.

Fees should be paid on the day of the interview.

UG Students are expected to study one mandatory language subject (they are required to select the same second language as studied during the last qualifying examination)

It is mandatory to upload a soft copy of the Applicant’s recent passport size photo and signature on the application (less than 100 KB)

Admission Criteria

Admission for B.Com – regular, B.com- Tourism and Travel Management, B.com -Industry Integrated, B.com- Business Process Services, B.com -Professional programs is purely based on merit. Mount Carmel College

Admission for B.Com IAF-ACCA, B.COM SF -CMA, B.COM CF-CPA programs will be based on an Entrance Examination (for further details, please check the respective Department Pages on the website)

Admission to the BCA program will be granted after a walk-in-interview which is conducted after the announcement of II PUC /STD XII results (Students should have studied Mathematics as a subject at the PUC/ +2 level.)

Admission to the B.A/ B.Sc and B.Voc programs will be granted after a walk-in-interview which will be conducted after the announcement of II PUC /STD XII results.

Admission to all PG programs is based on merit

Provisional Admission will be made for PG Programmed based on their 4th SEM/ 5th SEM results for students currently pursuing the 6th SEM.

  • Applicants need to log into the official website mccblr.edu.in to access the Application forms for admission for the year 2023 – 24.
  • Forms will be available ONLINE from 11th January 2023 for UG and PG Programmes.
  • Only online submission of applications will be accepted.

  • Students are required to opt for the same second language as was studied at the previous qualifying examination.

  • Certificates to be produced at the time of admission-
  • 10th and 12th PUC original marks cards + 2 copies
  • Transfer Certificate – original + 2 copies
  • Conduct Certificate – original + 2 copies
  • Income Certificate attested by Tahsildar for students whose income is Rs. 1,00,000 and below – original + 3 copies
  • Aadhar card copy.
  • SC/ST/OBC/Category certificate – original + 3 copies
  • Migration Certificate for students from other State Boards/ISC/AISSC/CBSE
  • Foreign students must obtain an eligibility certificate from Registrar, Bengaluru City University
