programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to appear for the common, mandatory Computer Based Test(s) (CBT). Since 2018, “SET – General” is known as Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and “SET – Engineering” as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE). These are conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various cities of India.
Eligibility:
Candidates looking for admission to this course must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Every eligible candidate should appear in the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) to qualify for the admission process. The final selection of candidates is strictly based on performance in SET and PI-WAT.

| Intake Allocation | SCIE reserves 20% of the total intake of the respective program for international students, which include: – Foreign Nationals (FN) – Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders – Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders – Non-Resident Indians (NRI). |
| Foreign National (FN) | Citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin (as defined under PIO/OCI), are eligible to apply as Foreign Nationals. |
| Person of Indian Origin (PIO) | A student is eligible if they have a PIO card and are a citizen of a country other than India. |
| Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) | A student is eligible if they have an OCI card and are a citizen of a country other than India. |
| Non-Resident Indian (NRI) | A student is eligible if they are an Indian National and have appeared for either 10th or 10+2 (equivalent to Indian 10th or 12th) examination outside India. One of the two qualifying exams must be taken outside India. |
